Latah County Ladies Homestead Gathering

All of us at Five Wilde Flowers are so excited for the upcoming Ladies Homestead Gathering in March. Mark your calandars for March 10th 5pm-7pm PST.

Chris Ford is inviting all Homesteading Ladies down to her homestead on March 10th at 5pm to learn about budget friendly dual-purpose chicken breeds good for Idaho climate and tips for keeping your chickens happy during the hot and cold times.

She will discuss the advantages/disadvantages of the top 4 cold hardy chickens AND she will be running a chick fundraiser where a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Latah County Ladies Homestead Gathering Chapter.

She has some awesome items donated from the hatcheries for giveaways, so you don’t want to miss this fun event on March 10th in Princeton.

Our Gathering starts at 5pm with a 30-minutes to socialize. We invite you to join us to chat and get to know one another. We can't wait to meet you!

In between the chicken talks, there will be an opportunity for you to borrow from our chapter's new seed library. If you want to help our seed library to grow, please consider bringing a few heirloom seeds packets. We'll even give you an extra entry in the giveaways for every seed packet you bring to donate!

Remember, homesteading doesn't mean you have to do it all yourself.... come build a homesteading support system.

ALL LEVELS of interest and experience in homesteading are welcome! No acreage or livestock required. The homesteading journey is different for each of us. We respect and celebrate that! This group is all about doing things at HOME inSTEAD of going to the store.
